Three Rivers is a free-floating social arts agency. We work with local partners to support creative practices, which recognise, resource and respond to people, place, land and community, in the London Borough of Bexley.Three Rivers is funded by Arts Council England, through a programme called Creative Places and People, which focuses on parts of the country where involvement in arts and culture is significantly below the national average.

Beneath the pavement, the marshes is a two-year action-research programme delving into the cultural, ecological and political dynamics of Crossness and Erith Marshes.

<h3>Explore the peaty past of Crossness Nature Reserve through collaborative drawing, connecting together human, more-than-human and marsh lives.</h3><p><br></p><p>Join RE-PEAT for a sensory walk through the marshes, family-friendly drawing activities and an engagement with the deep-time archive of Crossness Nature Reserve.</p><p><br></p><h4><strong><strong>About RE-PEAT</strong></strong></h4><p><a href="https://www.re-peat.earth/" title="https://www.re-peat.earth/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">RE-PEAT</a> is a youth-led collective changing hearts and minds <em><em>for</em></em> and <em><em>through</em></em> peatlands. Over the past four years, we have been seeding creative experiences, producing resources and connecting young people’s stories with decision-makers across Europe. Because we believe that without this deeper imaginative work, high-level policies and non-governmental interventions for peatland restoration and protection will neither be effective, nor fair, nor truly healing.</p><p><br></p><h4><strong><strong>Important Details</strong></strong></h4><ul><li>This event is FREE and open to everyone. However, participants under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.</li><li>Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.</li><li>Entrance: on Norman Road. Additional information about the meeting point will be sent the day before the event.</li><li>Note: Onsite parking is available. Please consider arriving on foot, by bike, or using public transport.</li><li>Nearest Station: Abbey Wood</li><li>Nearest Bus Stop: Picardy Manorway Eastern Way. Buses: 401 - 601.</li></ul><p><br></p><h4><strong><strong>Accessibility Notice</strong></strong></h4><ul><li>The workshop is not fully accessible for individuals with limited mobility.</li><li>The terrain is mostly flat but includes some stony areas, small inclines, and uneven grasslands.</li><li>The site is outdoors with limited shelter and can become muddy after rain. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing. Bringing water is also recommended.</li></ul>
