Diversity Matters:  Music for Mind and Motherhood

The Motherhood Group (TMG) is a pioneering organisation dedicated to empowering Black mothers and birthing people. Since 2016, TMG has been at the forefront of addressing racial disparities in maternal health outcomes. As organisers of Black Maternal Mental Health Week UK and pioneers of the UK's Black Maternal Health Conference, TMG offers culturally relevant support programmes, mental health workshops, and educational seminars. Through advocacy, research, and partnerships with healthcare providers, TMG works tirelessly to improve care quality and influence policy. TMG fosters a supportive community where Black mothers can share experiences, access resources, and find strength in collective empowerment.
