Mental Health First Aid England offers training from awareness to skill development. Our MHFAider® courses teach mental health understanding, challenge stigmas, explore impacts, and provide self-care and crisis intervention skills. Learn to support wellbeing and recognize mental health signs.

MHFA England courses are for everyone! No prior mental health knowledge is needed, just like with physical first aid. They are recommended for line managers, HR professionals, social care professionals, teachers, parents, foster parents, staff nurses, local authorities, friends, family, and friends.

How often do I need to renew my MHFA England training?

Accepted Answer

Like physical first aid, MHFA England training is valid for three years. We recommend MHFAiders® attend a refresher course every three years to renew skills, update mental health knowledge, and practice the Mental Health First Aid action plan.
