Join the GSA Biosphere team for an afternoon walk to the Wig near Kirkcolm to see wintering birds, play games and take part in activities.

Kirkcolm Community Hub

In winter Loch Ryan attracts wintering birds such as geese, ducks, swans and waders. Join us to learn more about these birds, play games on the beach, take part in scavenger hunts, and spot the birds. We will meet at Kirkcolm Community Hub, go out for a walk to the Wig then return to warm up with hot chocolate and take part in fun marine-based activities. Please wear warm and waterproof clothing, and footwear suitable for the beach. Free event.
