Funding Workshop: Climate & Environment Funding Opportunities

Midlothian Voluntary Action (MVA) provides support, guidance and representation for third sector organisations working in Midlothian. We do this in a number of different ways, including running various training sessions and events throughout the year.MVA's webinars, training, & events are open to:Staff, volunteers and directors of community groups, third sector organisations and social enterprises that benefit people living in Midlothian.Anyone starting up or thinking about starting up a new community project or social enterprise that will benefit Midlothian residents.Community councillors and other Midlothian-based community activistsStaff from key public sector partner agencies (Midlothian Council, NHS Lothian, etc).Priority will always be given to people working in Midlothian, but where space allows we will offer limited slots to third sector colleagues from other areas of Scotland.Midlothian Voluntary Action is part of Midlothian Third Sector Interface (TSI). Join us for an online workshop on community-led climate action funding providers and find out what goes into writing a successful bid.

Existing registrations still valid.This workshop is in collaboration with the <a href="https://www.midlothianclimateaction.org.uk/" title="https://www.midlothianclimateaction.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Midlothian Climate Action Network</a>.In the session, we aim to identify the main funding providers in relation to community-led climate action and/or environmental projects. We'll also provide advice on what constitutes a good funding application and hopefully be able answer any questions you may have.This funding workshop will take place on Teams, a link to join the meeting will be sent out to after registering.Any questions?
