Join us for our 2017 Annual Conference ‘Working together: people, practice and policy in alcohol research’ where we will explore co-production and collaboration in alcohol research and practice. With an excellent line-up of speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, we will explore how sharing experience can help to bridge the gaps between research and practice.
Key issues to be addressed include:

<LI>How can we ensure those seeking to address alcohol harms can better understand each other’s perspectives?</LI>
<LI>How do we bring the experience of those affected by alcohol harm into research development?</LI>
<LI>How can we best support service providers in research translation?</LI>
<LI>How do we ensure policymaking is informed by the experiences of the wider community?</LI>
</UL>
The conference will combine presentations, panel debates, installations and interactive workshop sessions to encourage a dynamic and productive discussion of how alcohol research can deliver real benefits to individuals, families and society.
As part of these sessions, delegates will be able to share knowledge and experience, and contribute to wider thinking on how research practices can be improved to better engage with the people and services it is targeting.
