Adfam is the national charity working to improve life for families affected by drugs, alcohol and gambling.

InterAction 2018 is an ambitious conference with a difference.  With generous support from Alcohol Research UK, the purpose of the day is to encourage the interplay and exchange of knowledge and ideas around the subject of drugs and alcohol. Speakers will be provocative and challenge received wisdoms with counter narratives. Respectful and evidenced challenge is encouraged by all attendees.
The conference is open to people in recovery (including those in service-user representation roles), families, practitioners, service managers, commissioners, policy leads, researchers and others. 
There will be three main presentations and seven "lightning talks" intended to spark discussion, thought and actions. There will also be a panel discussion facilitated by Adfam’s Chief Executive Vivienne Evans.

We will be revealing further speakers each week in the build up to the event.
All attendees will receive a warm lunch as well as tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the course of the day.
