A 12 week course in reconnecting with your highest creativity

A 12 week course in reconnecting with your highest creativity

Overview

An informal friendly group to explore your creativity. Deeply personal yet amongst community, we step into our highest creativity.

The artists way, written decades ago is a 12 week 'course' that comes in a book.

Amidst it's pages are tools designed to facilitate the reconnection with the creative self that Julia Cameron insists is part and parcel of being human. and lives within us all however active or dormat it has been until now.

Each week a different theme stimulates our thinking and informs small tasks helping us to overcome obstacles and unstick our creative flow.

Whether you have cerrtain creative skills you want to get back to, a project youre dying to begin but just never have or you want to live life as a more creative and spontaneous being, this course is for you.

We will meet each week for an hour or 2 depending on numbers, to share what the things we have expereinced and noticed in the previous week as well as setting our what our intentions are for the coming week. The meetings will be structured but informal, designed to welcome and celebrate you no matter what your background age or gender and no matter how big or small your creative desires are. We will celebrate each other, hold each other to account and catch each other if we fall.

You may have a definite idea of what you want to achieve or you may just feel a quite sense of curiosity or fascination or something in between. Wherever you are, I'd love to have you join us.

If you commit to the process, by the end of the 12 weeks you will have:

  • a deeper understanding of yourself
  • a greater sense of ease and freedom both generally and creatively
  • begun or rekindled creative activities or projects
  • joyful connection with people pursuing a similar path
  • experience of self celebration and selfcare
  • a sense of community
  • new ideas and passions

Over the years thousands of people have taken part in the Artist's way and many famous and successful creatives credit this process for that success. Still many many more have in a quiet way found their lives enhanced in a myriad of ways.

The group course is essentially free. You need a copy of The Artist's Way and to buy a drink each week at the Clftonville where the meetings will take place.

If you decide to take the plunge, I'll be delighted to see you. Please register so that I know to expect you.
