To celebrate our partnership with Underwater Weaving, join us at our new Upper East Side shop in New York for a workshop with founder Erin Pollard.
Underwater Weaving creates heirloom-quality rattan baskets that bring artistry and function into daily life. Erin has also created an installation displayed both in our window and inside the shop, showcasing a series of hand-woven designs typical of her approach to the craft.
During the session, you’ll be guided through the process of making an open weave wicker basket - an organically shaped vessel inspired by the installation created for our shop display. Working with natural rattan, the gathering will explore fluid form and intuitive making.
The workshop is suitable for beginners. All materials will be provided.
Tickets are priced at $212 per person. The cost of your ticket can be redeemed against a purchase on the day. Minimum spend of $400.
