Would you love to take great pictures, even if you just use a camera phone? Whether it’s for your social media feeds or for capturing those everyday moments for your family albums, this informal workshop will help you learn to take better photos - regardless of the camera you’re using. Professional interior and lifestyle photographer Cathy Pyle will share some of her tips and tricks and show you how to use light and composition to improve your images.

Starting in the Summerhouse, we’ll look at some of the principles of what makes a great photograph, and how to apply these using whichever camera you have. Then you’ll get to put your new skills into practice by taking a variety of shots out and about around Packhouse. Finally back to the Summerhouse to discuss and troubleshoot your images, with plenty of time for your questions. Workshop spaces are strictly limited to a max of 6 people per session so you’ll benefit from a focused and intimate session.

Light refreshments will be provided. You're welcome to arrive from 9.30 am for tea/coffee and an informal chat before we start.

Packhouse is within easy access of the A3, M3 and M25 and has plenty of free parking.

In the event of cancellation by us, we will offer alternative dates or a full refund.

We would prefer you to change to another date but if you have to cancel, a full refund will be given 20 days before the event, which gives us time to sell your ticket.
