Do you write? Do you want to write? Have you written before? Or not at all? Turn our woodland wonders into drama, action, adventure, romance, comedy…horror? Would you like to write a movie with award-winning writer and former BAFTA screenplay judge, Rob Young? Warm, witty and welcoming this workshop will play with laughter, delight and wild ideas….create a hero and walk them through a film, transform a painting into a movie, see a woodland glade as a dramatic set: it’s film-school in a forest!Where is it taking place: BCA Grinlow Woods, meet in Poole’s Cavern Car Park. When you arrive at Poole’s Cavern Visitor Centre, please go to the far side of the car park by Go Ape. We will be set up with an event shelter by the picnic tables near Go Ape.What to bring: Materials are provided (but you are welcome to bring your own!). It may also be beneficial to bring along a small stool or camping chair for sitting, if you would like one.Who is running the session: This session is being delivered by Rob Young, https://robyoung.info/art/Booking tickets: Please book 1 ticket for each person attending.This event is free as part of the Stronger Roots project, run by Buxton Civic Association and funded by the government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund.
