Foxholes is a BBOWT Nature Reserve, comprising mostly ancient woodland with abundant wildlife, including a variety of woodland butterflies.

We will explore the open rides and glades, looking for summer butterflies and day-flying moths. We hope to see at least one of White Admiral, Silver-washed Fritillary or Purple Hairstreak,

Accessibility & risks: gently sloping; mainly grassy, soft after rain,

some trip hazards. Kissing Gate. Please check for ticks after the walk and let the leader know if you have picked up any ticks. (Tick advice)
