The Sustrans Track is a disused railway that has been turned into a delightful route for walking and cycling. Much of it is raised above the surrounding land and so offers extensive views of the surrounding countryside. The raised area were built up with chalk and so supports a different range of plants and animals that much of the surrounding area.

This evening walk will explore the section from East Hagbourne towards Upton, looking for its summer butterflies and day-flying moths. We hope to find Marbled White as well as a variety of other butterflies and wildlife.
