An exploration of Cornwall's history and the part it plays within a global context - a small place making a big impact?

Format:A series of presentations by prestigious speakers who are experts, or have a particular interest in the field of Cornish Studies from the UK, USA and Australia. <h3>Event Summary</h3>What makes Cornish Studies relevant in a global context? Well, perhaps a key reason is that Cornwall can be seen as a good case study of key globalisation processes, particularly global migration. Cornwall's position and relationship to the other Celtic countries, England, Europe and indeed the world also invites academic study worldwide.
