The Last Company Class of the Year so let's make it a Good One

The Dancehouse

International dance artist, Mark Hindle, will be our guest ballet master for November. He is a brilliant teacher who has already given us three excellent company classes. One of the reasons why he is so good is that he is a performer. He has danced at major theatres in this country and abroad not just in ballet but in other dance genres too.This class is open to any adult ballet student on a first come first served basis who registers with us regardless of whether he or she has trained with us before. We are a;ways glad to welcome new artists. The afternoon usually consists of a full barre, strengthening exercises in the centre, pirouettes and other turns, warm up jumps, an adagio and a joyous grand allegro. Mark has a great eye for detail and his corrections are always useful. I usually keep a notebook in my dance bag in which I record Mark's tips before I leave the studio.As in September and October I shall be sponsoring the studio hire and instructor's fee so it will cost you nothing to attend. That will not be the case next year so make the most of this offer.For those who do not know the studio, the Dancehouse is at 10 Oxford Road, not far from the Palace Theatre, Oxford Road Station and Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan Universities. Oxford Road Station is on the Leeds to Liverpool mainline with excellent connections to the rest of the country. There is a bus stop right outside the main entrance to the Dancehouse which is served by several bus routes. Chester Street multi-storey car park is literally round the corner and offers special concessions on weekends.
