A free online Prevent awareness session tailored for staff in Education

A hugely popular online Prevent training session Staff working for in the Education sectors who are required to understand what Prevent is, how concerns might present in their workplace & how they should respond.

This online workshop will equip staff with a clear understanding of their responsibilities as well as learning what the relevant current terrorist & extremist threats are. Attendees will have the chance to explore with a highly experienced and qualified practitioner any questions they might have about the Prevent Duty or other issues linked to extremism & terrorism.

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance following the workshop (details taken from the MS Teams attendance list not from the Eventbrite registration).

The session will not be recorded & slides will not be shared with delegates.

The workshop will be delivered by Sam Slack, the Dept for Education’s East Mid’s Prevent Coordinator using MS Teams.
