The Farmer Review highlighted the issue of workforce and skill shortages, now at a record high, and this was recently echoed by the Federation of Master Builders who expressed particular concerns about Brexit. If we are to deliver the housing target of 300,000 pa with the same or reduced workforce and skills we need to make radical changes in what and how we deliver. The adoption of Lean Construction is going to be essential.
