<h1>About the Session</h1><p>Acceptance and Commitment therapy is the latest mindfulness-based approach, not just for therapy but for creating a rich, full and meaningful life for everyone. This workshop is designed to share insights from the latest book on ACT, so we can nurture our own growth as well as those we may work with.</p><h1>What to expect</h1><p>The session will include a short summary of the insights I've gained from reading the book, and time to do some of the practical exercises together that are recommended. The session will be held in a circle, and there will be some slides and handouts. We recommend you bring along a copy of the book if you can but not necessary.</p><h1>Who is this for?</h1><p>This workshop is ideal for total beginners to ACT and those who may have read some books or had some therapy and would like the opportunity to discuss their insights with others.</p><p>Please note - this is NOT a group therapy session, although you may find it therapeutic. It's a learning and exploring session. </p><h1>About the facilitator</h1><p><a href="http://shamashalidina.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shamash Alidina</a> is author of International Bestselling book,  Mindfulness for Dummies.
