A Message from the Arctic

TheEnvironment and Sustainability Institute (ESI)is an interdisciplinary centre leading cutting-edge research into solutions to problems of environmental change. It's Creative Exchnage Programmeaims to facilitate collaboration between creative practitioners and researchers on our Cornwall Campuses who share an interest in issues of environment and sustainability.Sail Against Plastic is a collaborative sailing expedition investigating and unveiling unseen pollution in the Arctic ocean. We're a diverse student group of passionate scientists, environmentalists, photographers, artists and videographers. Brought together through a shared love of the ocean and protecting the natural world, we'll be utilising our collective skills to raise awareness of the hidden threats our oceans are facing.

ESI and Sail Against Plastic

<A HREF="https://www.sailagainstplastic.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sail Against Plastic</A>, a pioneering team of scientists, filmmakers, photographers and artists, will be showing their film A Message from the Arctic, which follows their expedition to the arctic to determine the levels of plastic pollution making its way there on ocean currents.
The film screening is part of a wider exhibition of works from the expedition that will be displayed as part of the <A HREF="http://www.exeter.ac.uk/esi/community/creativeexchange/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ESI’s Creative Exchange Programme</A>. There will be a chance to meet with the team and ask questions, alongside free sustainable refreshments.
