A Practical Introduction to Life Writing 1 - Memoir, Biography and Creative Non-Fiction
Tuesday evenings 6.30 - 8.30 p.m. for ten weeks, 6th October to 8th December 2025
We all have stories to tell, yet writing non-fiction has its own peculiar difficulties. This course will explore, through examples and practical exercises, the art of writing from life. It provides an introduction to memoir and creative non-fiction using practical exercises designed to develop new writing skills and confidence in voice, tone, style and form of written work. This course is suitable for anyone who would like to begin life writing as well as more experienced writers who would like to develop their life writing skills or progress a life writing project. Early booking recommended.
