A Quest for Rest

Siobhan hails from the kingdom of Kerry in the Republic of Ireland and has been living in Hackney since 2011. She has practiced yoga consistently since 2012 having found comfort on the mat during a difficult period. Seeing the profound emotional benefits of a consistent yoga practice she went on to complete her yoga teacher training in 2016.Siobhan teaches a dynamic vinyasa style that can be physically challenging and strength building but includes a meditative quality to soothe the mind as well as restorative yoga.Her calming presence will put any new students at ease. She has completed the Yoga Alliance 200 hour teacher training at Yoga on the Lane in Dalston with the widely respected Naomi Anand and Adam Hocke.

Paper Dress Yoga

Join the wonderful <a href="https://www.siobhancoffeyyoga.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Siobhan Coffey</a> in a quest to rest. For the first hour, we will build some heat and warmth through the asana (postural) practice. Once the body has moved and stretched, the next thirty minutes will be an embodied meditation to quieten the mind. The final sixty minutes will be deeply restful, we’ll be floor bound supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets allowing us to drop into profound rest. Restorative yoga is deeply healing for the nervous, immune and digestive systems allowing us to take a step back from the daily stresses of life and still the mind.
