A Storytelling Event about OCD

A Storytelling Event about OCD

The Atlas TheatreSeattle, WA
Sunday, Mar 1 from 5 pm to 6:15 pm PST
Overview

A Moth-inspired storytelling event featuring true, live stories of OCD. Honest, human, and stigma-reducing. Proceeds benefit OCD Washington.

A Storytelling Event About OCD brings together lived experience, performance, and community connection in a format inspired by The Moth. Maybe, Maybe Not features individuals with personal experience of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder sharing true, unscripted stories told live on stage.

The cast is co-produced by Dr. Shereen Morse, OCD psychiatrist and former stage performer, and Dr. Stacy Welch, OCD psychologist, UW faculty, co-founder of the Evidence-Based Treatment Centers of Seattle.

This event offers an honest, human portrayal of OCD, using storytelling to reduce stigma, deepen understanding, and create connection. This is a must-see for health-care professionals who treat OCD, teachers, parents, or anyone who wants to support people with OCD or just learn more! If you have OCD or think you do, we especially welcome you. You'll leave feeling seen, heard and (hopefully) inspired.

All proceeds are fundraising for OCD Washington's programs or services (ocdwashington.org).
