The Newtown Park Cobbled Classic returns! Join us on Sunday 12th April for the L'enfer du Sud Ouest - A Sunday in Helles.This year our ode to the Spring cobbled classics of the Ronde and Paris-Roubaix promises to be bigger and bumpier than before with 3 route options, and 27 cobbled sectors.Start: Boona Boona Coffee Roasters - 9.30am Finish: Bristol Beer Factory Taproom Route 1 - Bristol-Roubaix - 30+ km - Our classic city centre route. Taking in Hotwells, Clifton, The Downs, Kingsdown, Stokes Croft, St Philips, Bishopston and the City Centre. Some short, punchy bergs you may be familiar with from our weekly Hills &amp; Pils ride.Route 2 - The Ronde Van Bristol - 50+km - This route heads out into Long Ashton, climbing Providence Lane and coming back to the city over the Clifton Suspension Bridge, before a loop of the Downs. Taking in the cities cobbled streets before heading out to St Annes and Bishopston for some extra climbs, including the infamous, Vale StreetRoute 3 - The Full Flandrien - 80+ km - Looking for a big day out? This route heads out onto the Flandrien lanes of Nailsa and Backwell before heading back to the city via the short, sharp climb of Wraxalberg. Passing over the Clifton Suspension Bridge riders take on the same city route as Route 1 &amp; 2 including the infamous climb of Vale StreetAll routes finish at the Bristol Beer Factory taproom where they will be screening Paris-Roubaix live on screen.You ticket price includes a charity and club donation. *Newtown Park Cycle Club is a not for profit CIC. Donations help cover the costs of running the club.
