In this 3-hour online training course, participants will gain insights and skills in understanding and supporting the needs of LGBTQ clients/customers/staff and colleagues with mental health issues. Bringing together both theoretical and real-life experiences, MindOut offers participants a unique perspective into understanding LGBTQ mental health, and how our identities intersect with our mental health. Participants will go away with actions and ideas how to make workplaces, teams and services more inclusive and welcoming. CPD certificates are available upon request.

The A-Z of Inclusion course aims to:

  • Increase understanding of LGBTQ identities and terminology
  • Explore LGBTQ mental health, what’s different and why?
  • Develop affirmative practice interventions and inclusion
  • Signpost to LGBTQ specific support

When will I get the session link?

You will receive an email with a zoom link 24hours prior and again 2 hours prior.

I can't afford the fee, can you help?

I've booked but can't make it now, can I get a refund

Yes, we can refund up to 48hrs prior but will need to charge a £10 admin/tkt fee. Or you can rebook another date or offset the cost for another Lunch & Learn Session. Sorry we cannot offset for other longer training sessions.

What is the format of the Session?

This will be delivered by a Trainer with lived experience of the topic. They will use slides, the platform will be zoom, and we can turn on the transcript.

I have a learning need, can I speak to someone?

Yes, please either email us with your needs, and/or a contact number and we will do our best to accommodate.

Can I record the session?

Sorry we do not allow recording of any part of the session
