Get up close with archaeology on an exclusive FREE tour of the A428 excavations. 

Join us to dig into the archaeology of the A428 and discover the forgotten histories (and prehistories) of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Friday 31st May 2024 - Age 16+, 16-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (parent/guardian). Book your place on a FREE tour of our post-excavation processing facilities to find out what happens after the dig! Discover the tools and techniques being used to prepare the finds and environmental samples from the A428 for analysis by our experts.There’s also the chance to see finds from the excavations and uncover the amazing stories they tell us about the past.Visitors must wear sturdy footwear (hiking boots/similar). Please be aware that this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.Arrival instructions and further information will be sent to attendees closer to the time.SPACES ARE LIMITED, BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL
