A4ID is a global charity that believes the law can, and should, be used more effectively to eradicate global poverty. We work to use the law and the skills of lawyers towards international development, and we encourage and empower lawyers to engage with crucial issues surrounding development, human rights and environmental sustainability.
The programme is aimed at practising lawyers, and anyone with a strong interest in the role the law plays in the development agenda. It aims to explore the role of the law in promoting fair and sustainable development, and is taylored to the needs of lawyers and the context of their work.
It’s CPD accredited and participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from A4ID for their development record.
The course is spread over 5 months, one full Saturday per month. You can attend the whole programme or a combination of modules or one individual module.

Our speakers will talk from 10:00 to 13:15, then there will be an hour lunch break and then again from 14:15 to 17:30.
Drinks and snacks will be provided, but lunch is not provided.
You can pay online when you order, or you can ask to pay by bank transfer on invoice. Eventbrite will acknowledge your order, and A4ID will confirm your place on the programme when we receive payment.
