AAPS is  is a remarkable hybrid think-and-do-tank, inspiring and working with the next generation of leaders to pioneer and shape the transition to clean, sustainable affordable mobility for all.

The AAPS CDT Research Incubator is an opportunity for academia and industry to come together to develop collaborative research with the potential outputs extending to new projects, collaborations, proposals and papers.
The first day of the incubator will set out the challenges and opportunities presented by the adoption of Hydrogen as a sustainable fuel. Over the following days, participants then work together in small groups of mixed expertise to develop well-defined research problems and outline potential methods for investigating them. 
The workshop provides an inclusive and accessible environment for industry, senior academics, postgraduate students and other early-career academics to frame and discuss interesting research problems. The workshop isn’t just an exercise for our students. There have been a number of successful collaborations that have come out of previous events such as:
<ul><li>New PhD projects with industrial co-funding
</li><li>Joint academic-partner research proposals to the funding councils
</li><li>Short-term research projects, scoping projects and consultancy
</li></ul>We are running the incubator an in person event and places are limited. Unfortunately it may be the we cannot accommodate everyone who wants to attend this time, but we will do our best.
