ABC Scrum Master: Training and Certification for every Scrum Master, not just for those from IT or involved with IT product development

Scrum is the basis of most Agile product delivery in the world today. It is a simple, elegant and very effective way for development teams and their customer – their Product Owner – to collaborate and deliver value to their sponsoring business in short, focused bursts of activity.

The Course:

Carefully positioned in the market as an alternative to the Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master (PSM), the unique selling point for the ABC Scrum Master offering, from the Agile Business Consortium, is that it takes Scrum out of the exclusive realms of IT and makes it equally applicable to the world of business, helping any team in any part of the organisation deliver optimally valuable products in short timescales. Whether you are an IT professional or a professional in a different discipline such as marketing, HR or operations, the ABC Scrum Master training is for you. You will return to your workplace motivated and equipped to help your teams to achieved increased success in delivering their products – whatever they may be.

This two-day course will give you a practical understanding of Scrum and enable you to become immediately productive as a Scrum Master serving your teams, your Product Owners and your wider organisation by helping them all get the most out of the Scrum approach to product development and delivery. The course uses the much-loved and highly effective training from the back of the room style meaning that it is highly interactive with short bursts of hands-on learning interspersed with even shorter bursts of theory and slideware. The course ends with a 40 minute 50 question multiple choice exam.

By the end of the course newly certified Scrum Masters will be able to:

Help Scrum Product Owners shape and refine product backlogs needed to guide the early and incremental delivery of a valuable product.

Assist the Scrum Development Team self-organize to create high value products, facilitating Scrum Events and removing impediments as required.

Help organizations understand and adopt Scrum, working with stakeholders and other Scrum Masters to improve its effectiveness.
