About Us is a  Photography and  Storytelling project for residents aged 60 and over living in and around  London W12.

<p>About Us is a  photography and storytelling project  for residents aged 60 and over living in and around  London W12.</p><p>The project &#x27;About Us&#x27; will provide participants with an encompassing space in which to make new friends and learn Photography and Storytelling.</p><p>Participants will be making their own photo-book with their photo-stories of each other and they will receive a copy for them and for friends and family.</p><p>The project is 8 weeks  long and it will  run weekly starting from  the13 May 2021 at 10:30am  at the Ravenscourt park  Glasshouses.</p><h3>Participants will learn:</h3><p>Basic Photography, including portraiture, environmental portraiture, image sequencing</p><p>Learn approaches and methods in producing a photo-story</p><p>Learn how to built a photo story via interviews, photography, writings</p><p>Learn how to develop ideas for a photo story</p><p>Learn how to visually translating emotions into images</p><p>Learn how to  develop a photo story from  home</p><p>Editing a photo book  </p><p><strong>We will provide equipment for those that do not have a camera or camera phone.</strong></p><p></p><h3>The  project &#x27;About Us&#x27; is kindly supported by Hammersmith United Charities.</h3><p></p>

<p>The Photojournalism Hub (PJH) is a not for profit organisation that promotes independent photojournalism, advocates for social justice and human rights and provides training and opportunities in photography and reporting skills through a programme of activities, including Talk, Photojournalism Nights, Exhibition events, Research and Campaign, editorial and Community projects. The PJH runs community projects and training in photography, storytelling and reporting aimed to strengthen community cohesion, provide practical opportunities and amplify the voice of disadvantaged and marginalised individuals and communities. <strong> </strong></p><h3>www.photojournalismhub.org</h3>
