Absolute Beginner's Argentine Tango Class
Tango. A dedicated 70-minute class for absolute beginners taught by professional instructors. No partner required!
Step into the world of Argentine Tango. Whether you have two left feet or have never heard a note of Carlos Gardel, this class is designed specifically for you. We strip away the complexity to focus on the core fundamentals: connection, walking, and the unique embrace of Tango.
What to expect:
- Professional Instruction: Learn from seasoned experts with years of international teaching experience.
- Small Group Setting: We keep numbers low to ensure everyone gets personal feedback.
- No Partner Needed: We rotate throughout the class, so feel free to come solo or with friends.
- The Transition: The class finishes at 16:15, just as our main community practica begins, giving you the perfect chance to see the dance in action.
Details:
- Time: 15:05 – 16:15 (Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in).
- What to wear: Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to slide slightly on a wooden floor (avoid heavy rubber soles if possible).
Partners & Connection:
- Come as you are: You are very welcome to attend as an individual—no partner is required.
- Bring a partner: If you’re coming with a friend or partner, you are also very welcome.
- Rotation: We typically rotate partners during the class as it is the fastest way to learn, but we respect the wishes of those who prefer to stay with their fixed partner.
This event will be held in the Upper Hall of St Columbas Church.
