Academic Assembly

Sheffield Hallam University

Our Academic Assembly provides an opportunity for academic and professional services staff across the University to come together with student representatives to help shape the University's academic strategy, contribute to policy development and to debate and vote on academic-related issues.
The first meeting of this academic year will take place this semester on Wednesday 17 April 2019 (13:00-15:00) in the Peak Lecture Theatre, Owen, City Campus.
Hosted by Roger Eccleston (PVC Research and Global Engagement), the meeting will include staff speakers and a lively debate with staff (Jacqueline Stevenson and Iain Garner) and student reps, focusing on the topic of unconditional offers and the potential implications that they have on the University, prospective students, and applicants.
The meeting will be in a "town hall" format where contributions from the room are encouraged. All members of teaching and research staff plus those professional services staff involve in supporting academic delivery are welcome to attend. Please register for the event to receive a ticket and the papers when issued.
