Accelerating Net Zero: Decarbonising Heat
Event Information
About this Event
Heating is one of the UK’s biggest sources of carbon emissions and therefore decarbonising heat is key to achieving the UK’s Net Zero carbon emissions target by 2050.
Greener Buildings is one of the points in the Government’s Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution, where the aim is move away from fossil fuel boilers to lower carbon, more efficient alternatives, such as heat pumps.
In this event, we will explore:
- How the aim of 600,000 heat pump installations per year by 2028 will be achieved
- The obstacles of achieving this transition
