The Coalition will share its insights on the European construction industry’s carbon budget, the development of markets for secondary materials, financing for circular buildings and emerging business and ownership models.It will also focus on identifying effective strategies to scale-up and replicate solutions that address systemic barriers, emphasising the crucial role cities must play in driving this transformation. To this end, the CBC will open a call for collaboration with organisations committed to leading the way in implementing and scaling innovative circular economy solutions.The event will consist of two sessions. 10.00 - 12.00 Session 1 - Findings of the CBC CBC will present its understanding of the systemic challenges in accelerating the transition to a circular built environment. 12.00 - 13.00 Session 2 - Pathways for local and regional circular buildingsThe second session will examine the role of cities in the transition towards a circular economy in the context of ICLEI CityLoops project. In both sessions, experts will discuss the explored topics.
