Access to Industry works with individuals to support them into education and employment. We believe that our work delivers real transformative change, assisting individuals to overcome personal difficulties that impede their progress.We do this through programmes and courses that provide one-to-one support, group-work, tutored classes and work experience. Our aim is to facilitate access to further and higher education, training and employment.Our programmes and courses develop essential core skills such as communication, ICT (Information and Communications Technology) and problem solving.  We offer individual support that aims to alleviate wider personal barriers.

Access Data is an employability service for unemployed and low-income Edinburgh parents who want to enhance their digital and data skills to either improve their chances in the job market in general, or train/retrain specifically for jobs in the data and digital sectors. Tailored to the individual needs of parents, the project is made both for those with no previous interest in data, as well as those who already possess some knowledge and skills. Access Data aims to help parents overcome any challenges they might be facing to move into employment or progress in their current job. Our project is for parents, or those with parental responsibilities, living in the City of Edinburgh, who are either unemployed or on a low income, and find themselves in one or more of the groups listed below:<ul><li>They are disabled or have a disabled child</li><li>They are from a minority ethnic background</li><li>They are a lone parent</li><li>They have 3 or more children</li><li>They have a child below 1 year of age</li><li>They are below 25 years of age</li></ul>Our online info sessions are a chance to learn more about the project and get answers to any questions about it.To learn more about Access Data right now, please visit our <a href="https://accesstoindustry.co.uk/services-for-adults/access-data/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">website</a>.
