Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC)is the County Voluntary Council (CVC) for Cardiff – the umbrella infrastructure organisation for the third sector in the City.C3SC’s key role is to provide specialist advice, support, and information to local third sector organisations on issues that affect them, including funding and governance.C3SC is the voice of the third sector in Cardiff. It facilitates third sector representation on strategic partnerships, including the Cardiff Partnership Board and its Programme Boards and Workstreams. An online introductory training for trustees/staff of organisations to learn more about setting simple financial systems delivered by C3SC.

An introductory online training session delivered by C3SC for those who wish to learn about setting up simple financial systems within new and existing third sector organisations in Cardiff.This is an interactive course which will give the participant the opportunity to work through practical examples and ask questions relating to implementation within their own organisation.The aims and objectives of the course are that attendees will be able to:i) Understand basic accounting terms and conceptsii) Set up and maintain a simple bookkeeping systemiii) Establish a petty cash systemiv) Use the system to produce basic financial reportsv) Understand the legal requirements for reporting in relation to their organisation.
