Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC)is the County Voluntary Council (CVC) for Cardiff – the umbrella infrastructure organisation for the third sector in the City.C3SC’s key role is to provide specialist advice, support, and information to local third sector organisations on issues that affect them, including funding and governance.C3SC is the voice of the third sector in Cardiff. It facilitates third sector representation on strategic partnerships, including the Cardiff Partnership Board and its Programme Boards and Workstreams. Introductory face to face course for those who wish to learn about setting up simple financial systems within a third sector organisation.

Butetown Community Centre

An introductory face to face training session delivered by C3SC for those who wish to learn about setting up simple financial systems within new and existing third sector organisations in Cardiff.About this eventThis is an interactive course which will give the participant the opportunity to work through practical examples and ask questions relating to implementation within their own organisation.The aims and objectives of the course are that attendees will be able to: i) Understand basic accounting terms and concepts ii) Set up and maintain a simple bookkeeping system iii) Establish a petty cash system iv) Use the system to produce basic financial reports v) Understand the legal requirements for reporting in relation to their organisation.The event will be face to face held at Butetown Community Centre, 40 Loudoun Square, Cardiff, Wales, CF10 5JA.For further enquiries, please contact C3SC on 07973 725335 or email enquiries@c3sc.org.uk
