Developments in simulator technology have transformed the way we train and assess seafarers – and the 2023 revision of STCW is likely to see many of these changes adopted into IMO legislation. But do we really know what best practice is and how it should be implemented – or are we just working off assumptions?Join The Nautical Institute and the Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA) for a unique conference including hands-on sessions in the SMA’s state of the art simulator centre. Together, we aim to identify the most effective ways of using simulator training to deliver success, and how we can measure those outcomes.
