About this event

Join the ACSQ Director of Vocations, the Rev'd Sarah Plowman, on a one day pilgrimage through the bush tracks of Mt Coot-tha, along urban streets via St Francis Theological College to the iconic St John's Cathedral in Ann St, Brisbane. Along the way you will have opportunities to reflect and pray, and chat with others about vocation, your life's purpose and God's mission in the world.

We will gather at the Mt Coot-tha summit lookout at 9am, before trekking through bush tracks and urban streets to our Anglican Church's shared home, St John's Cathedral. The total walking distance is 13km, so wear suitable hiking shoes and be sure that your health and fitness are up for the challenge. Bring your own lunch and plenty of water - there will be three stops to rest, reflect, eat and share stories with your fellow pilgrims.

There is no cost to participate, just an open heart, sturdy shoes and some stamina! Numbers are limited and the event is aimed at those who are searching for their life's purpose and interested in discerning whether God may be calling them to a special ministry. Please contact Rev'd Sarah through anglicanchurchsq.org.au/vocations or email DDOV@anglicanchurchsq.org.au if you have any questions.
