Join us in November!

Looking for new ways to spark your creativity and bring characters to life? This four-session workshop is all about play, imagination, and collaboration. Together we’ll explore how simple techniques can unlock fresh ideas for scenes and deepen your connection with text—whether you’re preparing a role, developing your own work, or just curious about performance.

Is this for you?
Anyone interested in storytelling, theatre, or performance—actors, writers, directors, or complete beginners. You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to give things a go.

What will each session look like?
We'll mix guided activities, character-building games, and scene work. Sometimes we’ll use existing scripts, and other times we’ll create new material in the room. The focus is on discovery, play, and supporting one another in a fun, low-pressure environment.

What will you gain?

  • Confidence in trying out new ideas
  • Tools to create engaging, believable characters
  • A sense of how to move from an impulse into a scene
  • Fresh ways to bring energy and spontaneity to a script

Course Schedule
Four sessions on Tuesdays from 18th November: two sessions, then a short break, then two more.

"An accepting atmosphere encouraged by Andrew so you feel safe to be silly and be yourself. Brilliant teacher, amazing people, lots of laughs and fun. Andrew's passion is infectious, no wonder there are regulars to his drop-in" (KM)

"Immensely enjoyable and stimulating, as well as a really great way to keep acting confidence levels up in between productions" (AB)

"Welcoming, challenging, and enjoyable with an engaging and entertaining tutor" (GW)

"Exceptionally fun session .. very good balance of teaching and being on stage to experiment, too .. (Andrew is) good at being sensitive in constructive criticism .. I really value these sessions as a place to de-stress as I always laugh so hard!" (TP)
