Local, global, inspiring - Bloomsbury Festival is a unique event created with over 100 partners in this vibrant cultural quarter.  For ten days in October, the streets, parks, museums, galleries, laboratories and public and private buildings of Bloomsbury will host up to 150 original events which attract audiences from across London and beyond.A hotbed of creativity and pioneering development, Bloomsbury also has one of the youngest and most diverse residential populations in the country. Bloomsbury Festival acts as a catalyst bringing together the area's artists, scientists and residents to explore arts and ideas through the prism of an annual theme.Outside the Festival event, the organisation delivers community engagement and arts development projects across the year. These include it’s pioneering project, Festival in a Box, which takes artists into the homes of people living with dementia to provide life enhancing and joyful cultural experiences.Above all, Bloomsbury Festival aims to be enlivening, engaging, entertaining, and fun!Bloomsbury Festival is a charity. Explore your relationship to creativity and self expression through breathwork, visualisation, meditation, writing, reading and discussion.

Conway Hall Library

Explore your relationship to creativity and self expression through breathwork, visualisation, meditation, free writing, reading and guided discussion. Led by creative wellbeing practitioner and writing coach Patsy Isles and creative entrepreneur and Words of Colour&#x27;s executive director Joy Francis, this two-hour interactive session is for people who don&#x27;t &#x27;believe&#x27; they are creative but want to be. The session is delivered as part of Words of Colour&#x27;s Creative Wellbeing Hub. Participants are encouraged to bring a notepad and pen/pencil.Attendees must be 18+ years old. Please note: By booking a ticket you agree to share your data for evaluation and audience purposes with the creative company presenting the event. This permission does not include the right for the creative company to share your data with any other parties.If there are any restrictions on the presentation of live events at the time of the festival all tickets we will offer a web-stream or online alternative where possible. In this instance all tickets will automatically be transferred to the digital events. If some events cannot go ahead and have to be cancelled refunds will be offered subject to Eventbrite and our box office partners’ terms.
