Active allyship - Interactive session
Help develop a collective understanding of racial equality and allyship.
Location: Chancellors' Building, room 4.16
The Race Equality Week session, run by Dan Holley and Matthew Mesley, is a dice based roleplaying adventure, in which 4 characters navigate a series of events all tethered around racial literacy. The 4 characters are to respond accordingly, using Bystander Interventions to decide the most appropriate action to take based on the context and character bio.
The staff and student blended groups will discuss what and why their actions are important, and reflect on the events to develop a collective understanding of racial equality and allyship.
