Understanding what to do if you witness identity-based harassment or violence - and what you can do as a victim

We are delighted to released two new dates for this free, two hour interactive online course led by the British East and Southeast Asian Network in partnership with identity-based violence prevention charity, Protection Approaches. You can sign up to take part in this course on either: - Monday 19th July 5.30-7.30pmOr- Tuesday 27th July 5.30pm-7.30pmThe course explores what you can do if you see someone harassed or attacked because of their perceived identity, such as their race, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientationYou will learn: <ul><li>What it means to be an active bystander</li><li>How you can support a victim and reduce harm if you encounter identity-based harassment or violence</li><li>What you can do in the moment if you are the victim of identity-based harassment or violence</li></ul>Joining details for the session will be emailed to participants 48 hours ahead of the workshop. Spaces are very limited so please cancel if you are no longer able to make the session so that your ticket can be released to another participant.
