Our philosophy, as a responsible coding academy, is to ensure our students engage in a healthy, well-balanced, active mode of study.For this reason, we provide a wide range of activities to break up our coding lessons organised by our instructors and activity staff. During the Easter camps this may include drama, role plays, team projects and quizzesDuring the summer months we offer over 20 activities including sports, climbing, swimming, dance, drama, quizzes and exciting evening activities for all students to enjoy.Our camps are suitable for students aged 12-17.

Join Active Coding Academies for our range of free coding workshops! Suitable for ages 12-24.
<H2>Active Coding Academies allows students to explore endless possibilities using their creative coding skills with a range of innovative activities to enhance enjoyment of computer programming.</H2>
During the workshop, students have the opportunity to explore and create their own projects using Scratch, Python, Java, Android, WebVR, HTML/CSS & JavaScript, and Video Editing to produce their own vlogs.
<H4>We offer extensive variety for children and teenagers from programming an app for a smart phone to building a website or producing your own video content - lots more on offer too!</H4>
Students will be given the option of working on their own coding project or working as a team to develop a project based on one of our instructors' project briefs which might include Animal Farm, Zombie Murder Mystery, Fantasy Football League and more.
Active Coding Academies simply don't just offer a platform for students to work on their own projects but teach them new skills in areas they may not have had experience, in an attempt to prepare the next generation of coders for the future work.

26th April: 17:30 - 19:00
1st May: 09:30 - 12:00

FAQs
 
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is suitable only for students aged 12-24. ID may be requested as proof of age upon arrival.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is free on-street parking available at the venue. 
What can I bring into the event?
Students are requested to bring their own laptop and comfortable clothing and footwear for working in a classroom. Students will have access to wifi and learning mateirals will be provided on the first day of the camp.

What's the refund policy?
After your booking is confirmed, students are entitled to a full refund if booking cancelled at least 72 hours before the start of the scheduled camp date. No refunds will be made available after this date.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Your ticket is used to confirm your booking details. If you have ID or proof of purchase, this will be sufficient to confirm your booking on the first day of the camp.
Can I update my registration information?
Please email us at admissions@activecodingacademies.co.uk if you need to update your registration details. You can also update your booking details through Eventbrite.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Your booking confirms a place on our camp. The booking may be transferred to another student at no additional cost.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
We do not ask for student details when you book but e may request this following your booking. If the student arriving at the camps does not match the name on the booking we will give you a call to confirm.
