Our key talk series introduces ADHD and co-existing conditions, providing an essential understanding of the conditions and tried and tested key advice and support details.  Although designed as a series, they also work as standalone events.

Additionally, 50% of ADHDers also have a Specific Learning Disability. This event introduces Study and Work challenges, how they affect individuals, and the required support. Specified Learning Disability incorporates the previously diagnosed conditions of Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, &amp; Dyscalculia. We look at practical solutions to reduce these problems, especially the resulting exhaustion. We would never wish for the nominal charge to be preventative for people attending. Speaker: Stephen ChallenBIO:Steve was first diagnosed at the age of 13 with a condition they called "Food Related Hypersensitivity Disease", which was later combined with other condition titles into a new title of ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder). He has personal experience with coexisting conditions such as Tourette's Syndrome, OCD, ODD, Dyslexia and more. He has been married to Madeline for 29 years and has three daughters and a son, ages 17 to 28. They also have two granddaughters and a grandson. His wife suffers from Chiari Type 1 and fibromyalgia, and all four children are in various positions along the diagnosis/treatment for Autism, Tourette's Syndrome, OCD, Dyslexia, and Scoliosis. He has been a key speaker for the National Education Union and has worked for the past 18 years with families and schools to improve outcomes for young people and adults in Essex and across the UK.
