Overview

ADLG Weekend Tournament, 15mm Dark Ages; 500-900AD

ADLG, Carnforth, North Lancashire

2-day, 5 game ADLG tournament, Saturday and Sunday 30 and 31st May 2025

Location; Carnforth Ex-Servicemen’s club, Scotland Rd, Carnforth LA5 9JY, UK

Cost £20, including lunch both days. Reserve your place via Eventbrite so that I can keep track of numbers, payment is cash on the day

Both ADLG and Saga are offered with ADLG limited to 20 players max, so secure your spot soon! As I see how numbers pan out I may transfer places between the two games. Standard ADLG rules, 15mm, 200 points, 5 games;

· Theme is the dark ages, any army 500AD to 950AD

· ADLG with the most current FAQ and clarifications

· If you have a playing mat please bring it along

Saturday

· 9:30 - 12:00 Round 1

· 13:00 - 15:30 Round 2

· 16:00 – 18:30 Round 3

Sunday

· 9:00 - 11:30 Round 4

· 12:30 - 15:00 Round 5

· Prizes and packing away

If we find that all games in any round are concluded within the time limit we will try and crack on and start the subsequent rounds a bit earlier so we can all get away sooner.

Travel

· M6 J35 in within 2 miles

· Carnforth railway station is 5 minutes walk, 400 metres

· There are direct trains to Manchester (city, airport etc.), Preston, Leeds and the Lake District, and connections typically via a change in Lancaster (6 miles away) or Preston

· Vitrix factory 17 miles

Catering

The venue has a bar. I will also aim to provide tea and coffee if possible. If entrance money exceeds costs I will reduce the fees, provide biscuits or something. Extra food and drinks can be bought in ALDI or Booths straight across the road, or within 200 metres from Greggs and cafes on Carnforth Market Street.

Lists to Mike Bennett, by 8th May latest. Late lists will be displayed on the wall throughout the weekend for all to see.
