The Civil Legal Assistance Office "CLAO" is a network of four offices in Scotland that helps people with specific civil legal problems. The offices cover Edinburgh and Lothian, Highlands and Islands, Argyll and Bute, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Simon is a practicing solicitor and currently the Head of Office for the Aberdeen office of the Civil Legal Assistance Office, having previously been based at with the Civil Legal Assistance Office’s Highland and Islands office in Inverness. His practice mainly focuses on child law. He also has experience in housing and adults with incapacity law.
