Adults at Risk Awareness workshop delivered by Ann Craft Trust (you must attend both sessions)

Please note: This workshop is split over two sessions (23rd and 24th March 2020 - both 18:00-19:30). You must attend both sessions.Delivered by The Ann Craft TrustThis three-hour course aims to provide awareness of safeguarding adults at risk in sport and activity for anyone within a sport or activity environment. Training will be tailored to support sports clubs in Wales. The aims of the workshop include;•	Explore responsibilities in relation to safeguarding (organisational, local and legislative).•	Identify the signs and symptoms types of abuse, and factors affecting risk of abuse.•	Look at what consists of poor practice.•	Know who to go to if you have a safeguarding adults concern.This workshop is exclusively for clubs engaged with the insport Club programme. If your club is not currently engaged with the programme but are interested in learning how you can access support in making your club inclusive, please submit your club’s interest here: http://www.clubsolutions.wales/insport-club/ This workshop is part of the Toyota Parasport Fund project in Wales.
