Advanced Heart Failure Course

This course provides a structured programme, which covers the core competencies in the field of advanced heart failure and heart transplant medicine.

It covers defined learning objectives set out by International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board and European Society of Cardiology curricula for the subspecialty.

The course is delivered by internationally recognised experts including cardiologists, cardio thoracic surgeons, histopathologists, immunologists, intensive care specialists, nurse specialists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

By the end of this course attendees will be familiar with the recognition and management of patients with advanced heart failure. They will also become familiar with the management of patients before and after heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
