London Playwrights' Workshop

Join Kimberley Andrews for this interactive course where you can delve deeper into the craft of playwriting.

If you've been writing for a while but want to strengthen your skills, explore playwriting further, and sharpen your craft, this new four week course is for you.During the course, you will be invited to bring in work to share with the group for in depth feedback and discussion. We'll also examine the work of well known playwrights to give a deeper understanding of playwriting techniques and styles.In between sessions, you'll be set exercises to help you to develop further and discover new things about your own writing voice and playwriting craft.Who is this course for? This course is best suited to playwrights who have already gone through the process of writing and redrafting at least one play. You don't have to have had your work produced but to get the most out of the course, you need a broad understanding of the playwriting process from start to finish.Course dates: Thur 5, 19, 26 June &amp; 3rd July 2025/ 10.30am - 12pm/ Zoom Please note, no session on 12th June!What next? If successful, there is scope for this course to continue on a rolling basis for those who want to make a longer commitment. So come along now and help us to shape this brand new training programme!
