Aeon is a new science fiction story told via a smartphone app, web content and a live event, produced by Cold Star Media & Ric Michael with support from Arts Council England, the University of Manchester and the University of Salford. The live event premieres at Manchester Science Festival in October 2016.
On 1st July, we need extras to become audience members for the launch of a new product - the fictional wonder-drug Aeon - from biotech corporation Halcyen. Imagine a near-future version of a new product announcement from Apple, Google et al and you'll get the idea of what we're trying to create.
The scene stars <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.spotlight.com/1419-8946-4087" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Paul Warriner</A> (BBC One's The Village and Casualty, Sky's The Five) as Halcyen's CEO, Julius Bach and theatre actress Wiebke Acton as scientist Nina Marrs.
We'll need you for up to three hours and in return, you'll get a credit on the final app, as well as refreshments on the day and the undying gratitude of Aeon's producers.
